Hi guys, finally I'm here.
It took me several weeks before I decided to setup my first blog on the cyberspace!
The setup itself was not difficult, after all, we all are now used to sign up on some accounts in the internet, especially when it's cool and free! (me: yeah, as long as it free...)
What was difficult is to decide which blog site to join (at least for me) ha..ha..
All of them were free and cool, I could easily blog on my Friendster site, I had about one hundred or so friends on my list who could be my prospectus readers, old and new friends, not to mention the second and third degrees, but then I decided not to.
All I wanted was a fresh start...
Last Saturday, I searched a couple of free blog sites (well, it's not really that difficult though since most of them are free actually...) on the internet from my Blackjack. I found some nice article about Indonesia Top 10 Blog sites (yes, I'm Indonesian), and I saw one of my acquaintance, Enda Nasution, was named on of Indonesia Top 10 blogger.
I know Enda from IndoBangkok mailing list (mailing list for Indonesians who live or have specific interest in Thailand), where he became the moderator. I met him few times at the Indonesian embassy in Bangkok. He is a nice young man who is called “Bapak Blogger Indonesia” for pioneering blogging in Indonesia. He have started writing blog since 2001 when the word “blog” still means an alien from outer space to me. His blog site (enda.goblogmedia.com) has some useful and friendly information for newbie like me.
Very useful tips indeed. He recommended several free blog sites and Blogspot was on the list. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for, a new fresh site to start blogging, away from those hectic want-to-add-you-as-my-friend sites…
